Glide past icebergs and through breathtaking fjords to explore Alaska’s coast and learn about those who’ve inhabited it, from the indigenous peoples to Russian traders to adventurers seeking Gold Rush fortunes.
Activity Level
Moderate
Moderate walking, mainly on flat surfaces but some trails can be uneven or wet. Participants should be able to walk up to one mile per day at a rate of ¼ mile in 15 minutes.

Best of all, you'll ...

  • Board a smaller vessel for a whale watching expedition at Point Adolphus near Glacier Bay National Park.
  • Discover Alaska’s capital city, Juneau, and traditional small towns like Homer, Kodiak, Sitka and Hoonah.
  • Enjoy native cultural presentations at the Totem Heritage Center and a Na Ka Hidi Dance performance.

General Notes

In some ports you will have the option of enjoying lunch on your own at your expense rather than returning to the ship for lunch. Due to the nature of this program, listening devices are not available.
