Taxi and shuttle services from the Bozeman Airport to the program site can be expensive. It may be cheaper to rent a car. For additional car rental options visit bozemanairport.com/ground-transportation to view rates and availability. Please note that there are no drop-off rental car locations once you leave Bozeman, thus car rental options will need to be made for the duration of the program. Parking is free in Gardiner and in Yellowstone National Park.

From the South (Jackson, WY) to Gardiner, MT (Ridgeline Hotel)

Expect slow travel as most of this stretch of the highway is through two national parks with speed limits averaging 15-40 miles per hour. Travel north on HWY 89/287 for 86 miles. You will travel through Grand Teton National Park and into Yellowstone National Park through the South Entrance. Continue driving north, past the turnoff to Grant Village, on to West Thumb. At West Thumb, head west towards Old Faithful (17 miles) and continue north to Madison Junction (16 miles). At Madison Junction, continue straight to Norris Junction (14 miles). At Norris Junction, continue straight to Mammoth Hot Springs (21 miles). At Mammoth Hot Springs, continue north another 5 miles, outside the North Entrance of Yellowstone National Park, into Gardiner, MT. Drive through Gardiner, MT, over the bridge, and another half mile. The Ridgeline Hotel at Yellowstone will be on the left side, behind the Yellowstone Mine Restaurant.

From the Southwest (West Yellowstone, MT) to Gardiner, MT (Ridgeline Hotel)

Drive east on Hwy 20 into Yellowstone National Park and 14 miles to Madison Junction. At Madison Junction, turn left and continue 14 miles toward Norris Junction. At Norris Junction, continue straight 21 miles toward Mammoth Hot Springs. At Mammoth Hot Springs, continue north another 5 miles, outside the North Entrance of Yellowstone National Park, into Gardiner, MT. Drive through Gardiner, MT, over the bridge, and another half mile. The Ridgeline Hotel at Yellowstone will be on the left side, behind the Yellowstone Mine Restaurant.

From the East (Billings, MT) to Gardiner, MT (Ridgeline Hotel)

Drive west on I-90 for 116 miles to Livingston, MT. Exit I-90 and turn south onto US HWY 89. Travel south for 53 miles to Gardiner, MT. The Ridgeline Hotel at Yellowstone will be on the right side, behind the Yellowstone Mine Restaurant, shortly after entering Gardiner.

From the Southeast (Cody, WY) to Gardiner, MT (Ridgeline Hotel)

Travel east 80 miles on HWYs 20 and 14/16 through the East Entrance of Yellowstone National Park until Fishing Bridge. At Fishing Bridge, turn right and head north to Canyon (16 miles). At Canyon, turn left and travel 12 miles west to Norris Junction. At Norris Junction, turn right and travel north 21 miles to Mammoth Hot Springs. At Mammoth Hot Springs, continue north another 5 miles, outside the North Entrance of Yellowstone National Park, into Gardiner, MT. Drive through Gardiner, MT, over the bridge, and another half mile. The Ridgeline Hotel at Yellowstone will be on the left side, behind the Yellowstone Mine Restaurant.

Bozeman, MT to Gardiner, MT (Ridgeline Hotel)

From Bozeman, drive east on Interstate 90 for 26 miles to Livingston, MT. Exit I-90 and turn south on US HWY 89. Travel south for 53 miles to Gardiner, MT. The Ridgeline Hotel at Yellowstone will be on the right side, behind the Yellowstone Mine Restaurant, shortly after entering Gardiner.
