This is my fourth grandparent tour and we thoroughly enjoyed it and I recommend it for others to participate in the future. We had two wonderful group leaders, Ellie and George and the kids loved both of them. The hotel we stayed out in Plymouth was lovely, close to the water, had a great indoor pool/jacuzzi and a splash pad with two water slides that the kids really enjoyed. The half day whale watching was excellent as well as the rest of the activities and educational and experiential creative activities. I highly recommend this Road Scholar Grandparent tour.

This trip was a wonderful, fun and educational experience for us. My grandson and I especially enjoyed the wide variety of activities - museums, boat trips (great!), crafts, etc. The pace each day was fairly intense (one activity after the other), but it kept the kids engaged, and each activity was so worthwhile. The guide was excellent, and the accommodations were very comfortable.

George Schmidt was an exemplary group leader and terrific all-around guy! It was great to share the camaraderie of the group (both the kids and the grandparents) and to learn from each other and make new friends. The content of the program was educational and interesting for adults as well as children.
