Taxis are available at the airport. Arriving travelers at PDX have a new pick-up spot for taxis. Taxis now safely connect with passengers inside Level 1 of the Short-Term Parking garage instead of the main roadway. Once travelers deplane, they are guided to the new location and airport signage to the “Transportation Plaza." Once in the plaza, find the taxi pillar within the parking garage. Two local companies are Radio Cab (503-227-1212) and Broadway Cab (503-333-3333). If you need a taxi equipped to transport wheelchairs, contact Radio Cab (503-227-1212). Advance reservations are recommended for this service.

Tri-Met MAX light rail to Embassy Suites Portland Downtown

The Tri-Met Max/Light Rail can be found on the main level, beyond the Starbucks. The Red Line departs every 15 minutes. Instructions from the Airport MAX Station: 1) Purchase one ticket for each person in your traveling party. 2) Board MAX Red Line towards City Center & Beaverton TC. 3) Exit at Oak Street / SW 1st Ave Eastbound 4) Head west on SW Oak St toward SW 1st Ave 5) Turn right onto SW 1st Ave and walk one block 6) Turn left onto SW Pine St 7) Continue straight for two and a half blocks.
