Activity note: After dinner personal bikes will be tagged and loaded into the trailer. Those renting bikes will be fitted for the proper size bike.

Afternoon: Check in to hotel at your leisure. Attend welcome dinner at 6:00 pm and meet staff.

Dinner: Catered dinner together in breakfast area of hotel.

Evening: After dinner we will visit at our leisure and get to know one another better. We will fit participants with their rental bikes, load gear and bicycles on to bus. We will not be cycling this first day.

Activity note: Shuttle service to Sedalia -- approximately 5.5 hour trip including time for multiple stops. Cycling begins early tomorrow.

Breakfast: Continental breakfast at your leisure between 7:00 - 8:30am.

Morning: We will load our luggage and remaining gear into the shuttle and start for Sedalia, the western most point of our journey and starting point for biking. Shuttle departs for Sedalia at 8:30 am.

Lunch: We will make a relaxing lunch stop on our journey to Sedalia at the Canterbury Hill Winery in Holt Summit.

Afternoon: We will continue on toward Sedalia stopping at the historic Bothwell Lodge State Historic Site to stretch our legs and tour the site. Upon arriving in Sedalia, we will check into the Hotel Bothwell and relax for a couple of hours before dinner.

Dinner: We will meet in the Hotel Lobby at 6:00 to board our bus for dinner at Kehde's BBQ. We will enjoy our meal aboard an authentic 1920's train car. We will choose our plated meal from a set menu plus coffee, tea, water, soft drinks; other beverages available for purchase. Introductions will be made and we will discuss Monday’s itinerary.

Cycle Sedalia-Boonville/Explore Boonville/enjoy the Casino

Activity note: Approximately 35 miles from Sedalia to Boonville. Trail consists of small gravel, "chatt", some washouts or down debris could occur if there has been a heavy rain. Overall the trail is very well maintained. There is a 3% incline in this area. There are two opportunities to get on or off the trail and be transported in the shuttle.

Breakfast: Continental breakfast at your leisure between 6:30 - 8:00 am.

Morning: Depart as a group for the Katy Trailhead. Shuttle to the Historic Katy Depot where we will tour the facility and museum. We will review the suggested lunch locations, along with sag wagon check points throughout the day. Each person will be provided educational information for the day to keep with them while riding. Riding will be at your pace but there will be a time set for when you must be off the trail in order to get to the evening location and activities on time.

Lunch: Lunch is on your own along the trail. Each rider will be provided suggested locations to eat lunch according to the options available that day.

Afternoon: You will ride the remaining distance for the day with frequent stops along the trail for water breaks, and educational information regarding the trail and the small towns you pass through. Arrive in Boonville, where you can explore historic downtown Boonville, the river walk, casino, or simply relax before evening dinner.

Dinner: Dinner at Isle of Capri Farmer's Pick Buffet where an effort is made to use fresh, local ingredients in their delicious foods, at your leisure.

Activity note: Approximately 51 miles from Boonville to Jefferson City. Trail consists of small gravel, "chatt", some washouts or down debris could occur if there has been a heavy rain. Trail is relatively flat. Overall the trail is very well maintained. There are four opportunities to get on or off the trail and be transported in the shuttle.

Breakfast: Breakfast buffet offered at hotel beginning at 7:00 am. Meet in hotel lobby at 8:30 am to discuss the days itinerary.

Morning: Cycle from hotel parking lot to the trailhead. Cycle 13.5 miles into Rocheport and continue into McBaine for lunch. Guide book readings will provide participants with information about sites they will pass on the trail. Riding will be at your own pace but there will be a time set when you must be off the trail in order to get to evening location and activities on time.

Lunch: You are welcome to pick up lunch in Rocheport, but we will provide light sandwiches in McBaine.

Afternoon: You will ride the remaining distance for the day with frequent stops along the trail for water breaks, and educational information relating to the trail and the small towns you pass through. Arrive in Jefferson City. Choose to take optional tour of the State Capitol,(across the street from the hotel), swim, or relax before dinner.

Dinner: Dinner at Prison Brews Microbrewery.

Cycle Jefferson City-Hermann/Winery tour-Stone Hill Winery

Activity note: Approximately 48 miles from Jefferson City to Hermann. Trail consists of small gravel, "chatt", some washouts or down debris could occur if there has been a heavy rain. Trail is relatively flat. Overall the trail is very well maintained. There are five opportunities to get on or off the trail and be transported in the shuttle.

Breakfast: Enjoy breakfast buffet at hotel, beginning at 6:30 am. Options for day's ride will be discussed after breakfast.

Morning: Choose your departure from options provided after breakfast. We will review sag wagon checkpoints available throughout the day. Guide book readings will provide participants with information about sites they will pass on the trail. Riding will be at your pace, but there will be a time set to be off the trail in order to get to the evening location and activities on time.

Lunch: A picnic lunch will be provided at Sag Support Stop.

Afternoon: You will ride the remaining distance for the day with frequent stops along the trail for water breaks and educational information relating to the trail and small towns you pass through. Check in to the eclectic Harbor Haus Inn. Enjoy simple accomodations and welcoming innkeeper, Frank Van Kamp. You will have time to explore historic downtown Hermann, or relax before evening activities.

Dinner: Dinner will be at the historic Stone Hill Winery in Hermann, MO. Dinner will be preceded by tour of the winery.

Cycle Hermann-Augusta. Visit shops, winery or microbrewery.

Breakfast: Breakfast buffet at 8:00 am in main house. Riders will depart immediately following.

Morning: Depart for trailhead. Enjoy riding high on the bluffs overlooking the Missouri River on this stretch of the trail.

Lunch: Enjoy a picnic lunch at the Sag Support Stop.

Afternoon: Begin arriving at the Augusta trailhead. Stroll through town, look in small shops, visit Mt. Pleasant Winery or Augusta Microbrewery. The last shuttle will depart for hotel when the last rider arrives in town.

Dinner: Dinner will be on your own in Washington, MO. Suggestions will be provided and a shuttle will be available to transport you to dinner.

Breakfast: Breakfast at the hotel

Morning: Shuttle to Augusta trailhead. Hear Dr. Anita Mallinkrodkt lecture on the German Settlers and establishment of historic Augusta.

Lunch: Enjoy lunch at Wine Country Garden which overlooks a spectacular view of the countryside.

Afternoon: Begin arriving at Old Main Street in St. Charles. Tour Lewis & Clark Boathouse. Browse through shops and visit historic sites on Main Street.

Dinner: Dinner will be at The Mother in Law House Restaurant in historic St. Charles.
