FROM JFK Terminals Take AirTrain ($8.25) to Jamaica. Use a credit card with a chip to tap & pay the fare via the OMNY system. At Jamaica Station transfer to the LIRR commuter rail to PENN STATION. The fare for this train is separate from the Airtrain and varies: $8.25 off-peak; $11.25 peak. Only weekday Rush Hour is peak. Purchase your ticket at one of the kiosks in the station before boarding the train. The train will bring you directly into Penn Station. Exit out to 8th Avenue. Taxis can be hailed on 8th Avenue. Or switch to the subway. Look for the #1 train UPTOWN (red line). Use your credit card to tap into the system. Ride ONE STOP UPTOWN and get off at Times Square. Exit to 42nd Street. Walk 2 blocks up through the heart of Times Square (toward the Coke sign), right onto 44th Street. Hotel is between Times Square and 6th Avenue.

On the Uber App, look for the “Shuttle” icon (it features a black van & tiny airplane.) Follow the scheduling prompts. As Uber utilizes your phone’s location services, it is possible the NYC-based shuttle icon won’t be available until arriving in NYC. Price subject to change.

Take Q70 bus to Roosevelt Avenue station. Tap your credit card on the OMNY reader to pay fare. Transfer to the “E” Subway train Manhattan Bound/DOWNTOWN to “42nd Street/Port Authority.” Be sure to use the the same card when transferring to the subway and the system will recognize it as a free transfer. Exit at station toward 44th Street. Walk past the Broadway theaters, through Times Square. Hotel is located on 44th Street, between Times Square and 6th Avenue. The walk is approximately 7 minutes from the subway to the hotel.

From Newark Airport Follow signs from baggage claim area to the AirTrain monorail direct to Newark Airport Station. Take NJ Transit to New York Penn Station. From Penn Station take the number 1, 2 or 3 subway trains UPTOWN (one stop) to 42 Street/Times Square. Exit to 42nd Street and walk through Times Square (toward the Coke Sign) to 44th Street. Turn right onto 44th Street. Hotel is located between Times Square and 6th Avenue. Or take a taxi from Penn Station. The taxi stand is located on 8th Avenue.

From New Jersey to Aura Hotel
Take the New Jersey Turnpike (I-95 North) to the Lincoln Tunnel exit. Upon exiting the tunnel, follow signs towards "uptown." At the last light make a right (there will be a parking garage in front of you.) You are now on 42nd Street. Take 42nd Street to 8th Avenue and make a left. Go up to 44th Street and make another left. Follow 44th Street through Times Square. Hotel will be on your right in the block between Times Square and 6th Avenue.
From North to Hampton Inn
Take I-95 South towards the George Washington Bridge. Exit before the GWB at Henry Hudson Parkway South (This will turn into the West Side Highway). Exit the West Side Highway at 44th Street. Follow 44th Street crosstown through Times Square. Hotel is on 44th Street between Times Square and 6th Avenue on the right.
