Judy and August Ferretti

Road Scholar’s Free Online Lecture Series in Memory of August Ferretti

In 2023, we are honored to present Road Scholar’s free online lectures in loving memory of August Ferretti. A metallurgical engineer with many patents and numerous publications to his name, August was the quintessential lifelong learner who had a passion for gardening, history, the outdoors and traveling on Road Scholar adventures around the world with his wife Judith Allen Ferretti. August also enjoyed the intellectual stimulation and variety of Road Scholar’s online lectures, and this year's free lecture series is dedicated to his memory through a generous donation from his wife, Judy.

Each virtual lecture is based on one of Road Scholar’s popular in-person programs, so you can experience any adventure from the comfort of your own home. With a variety of trips to choose from, you’ll be able to take an online Zoom lecture for adults that explores a topic of discussion you’re interested in.
