What’s filled with learning, comfortable amenities, interesting people… and floats? If you answered Road Scholar’s Floating Campus voyages, you’re right! Road Scholar Floating Campus voyages are unique educational adventures that take place on waterways around the world, on board ships that are perfect for exploring each region. Think of these voyages like college campuses on the water, where you might sit down for lunch with your instructor or meet other Road Scholars during a book club meetup.
Along the way, you’ll explore some of the world’s most fascinating places and enjoy cultural experiences that help you learn more about the people who live there. You’ll pack and unpack only once as you live on board beautiful ships that also serve as your classrooms.
Why Should I Choose a Floating Campus?
If you love the feel of a college reunion, Floating Campus voyages emulate that experience. On these journeys, you get to know your fellow Road Scholars in a laid-back atmosphere that is filled with discovery.
Each learning adventure will be enhanced by instructors who stay with you onboard throughout the voyage and join you on land for field trips. You can join onboard book clubs, meet up with an activity director for a photography class or simply check out the ship’s library and enjoy an opportunity to chat with other learners like yourself.
On all of these voyages, you’ll enjoy free airfare from most cities and all port taxes, fees and ship staff tips are included — making the value extraordinary and the details convenient!
