What an incredible year it’s been. As we close the chapter on our 50th anniversary, we’re filled with a deep sense of gratitude for the incredible community that made it so special. Every learning adventure, every moment of discovery and every friendship forged throughout our milestone year was possible because of one thing: YOU!
What began in 1975 has blossomed into a global classroom for more than six million curious minds. As we celebrated our 50th anniversary throughout 2025, we were constantly reminded that every achievement was a testament to your support. We truly couldn’t have made it a year to remember without you.
Your belief in our mission fueled our passion to create new and engaging educational programs that meet the evolving interests of our learners. The exciting collection of adventures we launched in our 50th year was a direct reflection of your commitment.
But your impact didn’t stop there. It was felt in the lives of caregivers who received a much-needed financial grant to rest and recharge, and in the spirit of educators who could finally become students thanks to a scholarship.
2025 Milestones, Thanks to You:
- We welcomed 99,000 older adults on learning adventures around the globe.
- We engaged 94,296 Road Scholar participants in online lectures.
- We connected with 1,502 lifelong learners on multi-day Adventures Online programs.
- We offered 4,775 departures on 692 unique Road Scholar programs.
- We awarded more than 200 scholarships and grants to primary caregivers, educators and those who would otherwise be unable to participate in a life-changing learning adventure without your support.
