Adventuress is a Puget Sound treasure celebrating her 104th year as a working vessel. The sleeping accommodations are dormitory style, with bunks arranged in snug tiers in the foc’sle and main cabin. There is very little privacy aboard. For our Intergenerational Voyages, families will be able to sleep in the same cabin. In the morning and during preparation for “lights out” in the evening, there will be a curtained off changing area where participants will be able to change privately. The bunks have foam mattresses and are small, but have enough room for sleeping. We ask participants to bring a sleeping bag and small pillow. There are no showers aboard the ship, though Adventuress will make a shore stop mid-trip so that participants may use showers at a marina facility. There are three marine toilets that are located in the passageway between the main cabin and the foc’sle.
