Claudio Le Roy’s deep understanding of Chile’s culture has allowed him to lecture around the world, visiting more than 28 countries. Claudio studied English language teaching and literature at the Catholic University of Valparaiso, Chile, where he also taught composition. He also worked for 10 years as a principal dancer for the National Folkloric Ballet of Chile, and studied culture with the most recognized folklorist and researcher in Chile. Claudio is very proud of his roots, country and people and has travelled extensively all over the country including the Chilean Antarctic territory and Easter Island studying and exploring Chile's roots and traditional culture. He also holds a diploma from the University of Chile in territorial and cultural identity development. He has a vast experience as instructor and as a group leader for Road Scholar programs and other groups of diversified interests and ages. Currently, Claudio is the program director for the Experiment in International Living in Chile, institution that he joined in 2000.
