St. Ulrich
The historic Hotel Snaltnerhof is located in the center of St. Ulrich (known in Italian as Ortisei), nestled in the Dolomites. The original structure was a house was built by Peter Nissl Pech in 1673. Originally it was only a bakery and the home of the Hofer family. In 1864, however, the house was enlarged, and the shop and the bed and breakfast hotel were opened. Since 1994, the hotel has been operating a restaurant also.
