Western Shore
At the Oak Island Resort and Conference Centre, we celebrate the spectacular setting that is Nova Scotia’s south shore. A perfect escape nestled between Chester and Mahone Bay along Nova Scotia's southwest shore -- a place to catch your breath, enjoy a well-deserved massage, or cruise the islands of Mahone Bay. Just a 45-minute drive from Halifax, our seaside hotel effortlessly blends the comforts of a scenic retreat with all the fun of an elegant, full-service resort. The resort offers a fantastic view of Mahone Bay and the famed, yet mysterious, Oak Island, believed by some to be the hiding spot of Captain Kidd's long-lost treasure. We invite you to discover the unique character and casual luxury of our seacoast resort. Explore the marvels of unspoiled nature you’ll encounter here. And create memories that entice you to return again and again.

Welshpool
Roosevelt Campobello International Park is a singular example of international cooperation - jointly administered, staffed, and funded by the peoples of Canada and the United States. Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt’s magnificent summer home is preserved here in a combination indoor museum and outdoor nature park on Campobello Island, New Brunswick, Canada. Plan to spend an hour touring the Visitor Centre, Roosevelt Cottage, and flower gardens. Spend several hours in the Park’s 1,134-hectare (2,800-acre) Natural Area, where you can explore walking trails, beaches, bogs, forest, and spectacular ocean headlands - or enjoy a picnic with an ocean or lighthouse view. The Conference Center includes four turn-of-the-century cottages: Prince Cottage, Hubbard Cottage, Wells-Shober Cottage and Johnston Cottage. A more modern cottage, the Patterson Cottage, is also used to house conferees. These cottages have been handsomely redone and furnished to provide pleasant overnight accommodations for conference participants. The Johnston and Patterson Cottages are wheelchair accessible and offer all amenities.
