The traditional music and crafts brought to West Virginia by Scots-Irish settlers planted the seeds of a deep-rooted culture of art, music, and craftsmanship that continues to inspire new generations. Site of the prestigious Mountain State Art & Craft Fair, Cedar Lakes Conference Center was created on the site of a former farm to educate students and host groups and classes devoted to the traditional arts.
