Alan O'Cain

Alan is a British artist, poet and arts educator. He studied history at Lancaster University, specializing in the development of Western Science, Art and Philosophy, and has an master's in education. Alan served as visiting fellow and artist- and poet-in-residence at Durham University in 2012 and 2015. He has been involved in creative collaborations with Glyndebourne Opera and the Royal Shakespeare Company and has produced art and poetry for a number of historical and international venues, including the studio of Norwegian artist Edvard Munch (painter of “The Scream”) and the former prison cell of Austrian artist Egon Schiele.
