The National Park Service (NPS) Visitor Center is located adjacent to your accommodations and the rangers offer a wide variety of interpretive programs throughout the the season. All NPS programs are free and you are welcome to attend during free time. Detailed program information is listed in the park's newspaper available at the entrance station or at the Visitor Center. For this program, we stay in historic log cabins that are nestled in the pines. Some of your meals are served in the Grand Canyon Lodge’s magnificent dining room that offers fine dining in a casual atmosphere with a western flair and an incredible view of the canyon with every bite! The Grand Canyon Lodge's rustic construction of limestone walls and timbered ceilings complements the North Rim's lush beauty. The Lodge offers peace and comfort to the North Rim visitor and is a National Historic Landmark. This beautiful facility is carved into the edge of the Grand Canyon's rim, with a massive view of the canyon and the plateau to the south.
