Francesca Assandri was born and raised in Genoa where she still lives. She has a degree in Geology and is a National Tourist Guide, licensed to lead hiking in Liguria and Piedmont. She has collaborated on projects for the Genoa Aquarium, 5terre Park, Portofino Park, and Beigua Park. Francesca has also worked on offshore and onshore oil and gas rigs in Texas, Croatia, Serbia, and Albania! In addition to group leading, she has been a lecturer, itinerary developer, and an environmental educator.
