At a Glance

This five-part online lecture series will take you on a journey through the history, buildings and neighborhood stories that make up New York City — one borough at a time. In part one, John Kriskiewicz, an expert on architecture and city planning, takes you on an exploration of Manhattan. This borough is the one most often associated with New York City by those who aren’t familiar with all five boroughs. John will take you beyond the usual clichés of the global city that is New York, New York, to discover untold tales of familiar icons, hidden sites and new landmarks.
