Welcome, orientation and introductions in the College Inn Meeting room

Dinner: 5:15 pm - Transfer to Dixie State University for a delicious banquet dinner.

Evening: Orientation & Introductions in the College Inn classroom.

Snow Canyon/Birds of Prey Presentation

Breakfast: 7:00 - 8:00 am - Enjoy a continental breakfast at the College Inn which includes hard boiled eggs, hot oatmeal, cereal, fruit, yogurt, pastries, toast, coffee, tea, milk & juice.

Morning: 8:15 am - Depart for field trip and introduction to area geology at Snow Canyon State Park. Walk with instructor on the nature trails among the red sandstone formations. At Snow Canyon State Park you can explore the natural beauty with scenery of red rock cliffs, rolling mounds of petrified sand dunes and lava (basalt) rock formations.

Lunch: Lunch at Trailblazer Cafe. Choose between food stations to include fresh salad bar, home cooking, pizza, asian grill, and BBQ grill.

Afternoon: See up close and personal a live falcon, hawk, and golden eagle. Martin Tyner, a federally licensed eagle falconer, presents "Birds of Prey".

Dinner: Pizza Party at College Inn.

Evening: Presentation on Utah's geology, ecology, flora & fauna.

Breakfast: 7:00 - 8:00 am - Enjoy a continental breakfast at the College Inn which includes hard boiled eggs, hot oatmeal, cereal, fruit, yogurt, pastries, toast, coffee, tea, milk & juice.

Morning: 8:15 am - Check-out and depart for Zion National Park. Our instructor and group leader go with you as you walk among the rock canyons and formations. Incredible scenery of red rock cliffs, riparian areas and more.

Lunch: Box lunch on the trail.

Afternoon: Continue hiking in Zion National Park. Then we'll travel to the east portion of Zion National Park, through the tunnel and continue to Checkerboard Mesa. Arrive and check in to cabins at the Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort!

Dinner: Wagon ride to Dutch oven dinner.

Evening: You'll be amazed how many stars you can see at night!

Antelope Slot Canyon & Glen Canyon Dam

Breakfast: Breakfast buffet at the Ranch.

Morning: Check out and depart for Page, AZ and Antelope Slot Canyon, the most photographed slot canyon in the Southwest US! Embark on a guided exploration of Upper Antelope Canyon. The Navajo name for Upper Antelope Canyon is Tse' bighanilini, which means "the place where water runs through rocks." Upper Antelope is at about 4,000 feet elevation and the canyon walls rise 120 feet above the streambed. Located within the LeChee Chapter of the Navajo Nation.

Lunch: Lunch in at a restaurant in Page, AZ.

Afternoon: Visit Glen Canyon Dam Visitor Center. Check in to Lake Powell Resort.

Dinner: Dinner at restaurant in Page, AZ.

Evening: Spend an evening with the Navajo a wonderful opportunity to glimpse into the life, ways and traditions of the Navajo tribe!

Breakfast: Breakfast Buffet at Lake Powell Resort which includes fresh fruit, yogurt, pancakes, french toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, cereal, assorted pastries, coffee, tea, and juice.

Morning: Check out and depart for Flat water float trip on the Colorado River. Colorado River Discovery river trips begin with an exciting ride down the two-mile long Glen Canyon Dam access tunnel. With the dam soaring 700 feet above you, you will board a motorized pontoon raft for your journey downstream, where you will experience one of the most dramatic stretches of river found in the western United States. While underway, your experienced guide will tell the area’s story of soaring sandstone cliffs, crystal blue-green waters, abundant wildlife, former inhabitation by native cultures, exploration by Major John Wesley Powell, and the Colorado River’s modern role in the Southwest’s water and power delivery system. Return to Page for an evening with the Navajo.

Lunch: Box lunch on the River.

Afternoon: Return to St. George Check into your rooms and relax until dinner

Dinner: Dinner at Chuck-A-Rama Buffet.

Evening: Free Time.
