Freddy Ruiz, despite being born in Quito, Ecuador, has entirely Colombian roots. He spent six years of his childhood in Ecuador before his family moved to Popayan, Cali, and then to Bogota. Freddy studied music and sound engineering at Javeriana University. After finishing his studies, he began working as a group leader and driver for a small tourism company and sought to become an officially certified leader. Freddy has been leading in Colombia for over a decade.
