George Bumann
George is a sculptor living in Gardiner, Montana and has been a life-long observer of nature. He was raised in his mother's sculpture studio and holds bachelor's and master's degrees in wildlife ecology. He has worked in wildlife research, taxidermy, back-country guiding and environmental consulting and has taught art and natural history to youth, adult and university audiences. He is a member of the National Sculpture Society and the Society of Animal Artists, and his work has been displayed in collections and exhibits across America.
