Hilo's best full service hotel, the newly renovated Hilo Hawaiian Hotel offers outstanding views of the ocean or quaint Hilo town framed by the backdrop of Mauna Kea. Kailua-Kona
The Royal Kona Resort is commonly referred to by old-timers as the "former Hilton Hotel." The hotel consists of three towers: the Ali'i Tower (Main building), the Lagoon Tower (overlooking the hotel's private pocket beach), and the Village Tower (closest to town). This hotel is located on the ocean looking out at Kona Bay, famous for marlin and big-game billfishing. The hotel is easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, churches, etc. Famous Don the Beachcomber Restaurant and Bar is next to the fresh water pool, which is adjacent to the hotel's lu'au grounds. It's not unusual to see dolphins from the outdoor terrace each morning during breakfast.

The hotel offers an excellent central island location near Kapa'a on the east side of Kaua'i on the beach. There is also great area shopping and dining within walking distance. There is a three mile coastal beach path that is perfect for biking (rent bikes on property) and/or a leisure stroll along Kauai’s beautiful eastern coast. During whale watching season (winter months), views of humpback whales can be seen from the coastal path. Courtyard offers all of the amenities of a resort, including day spa and salon, 24 hour fitness center, tennis courts, marketplace where grab and go items/sundries are available and full service restaurants. Also, directly across of the parking lot, a new CVS/Longs drug store provides access to a pharmacy, forgotten sundry items and a nice Hawaii section for last minute gifts to take home. Additionally, the Coconut Plantation Marketplace is a 5 minute walk from the resort and two other shopping complexes are one street light away from the resort. Location! Location! Location!
