Afternoon: Room check-in at Wilson Lodge front desk starting at 4:00 p.m.; pick up Registration Packets at Road Scholar Registration Table from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m

Dinner: Dinner at 6:00 p.m. in Wilson Lodge.

Evening: Orientation program immediately following dinner.

Introduction to Magic, Craft Sessions, and Balloon Twisting session.

Breakfast: Breakfast buffet at Ihlenfeld Dining Room.

Morning: Introduction to the program; the program format will be presented, as well as guidelines for the weeks activities. In this first session you will learn some basic psychology of magic and learn to perform magic with simple objects that can be carried with you or are readily available. This session will conclude with an introduction to the on-site Magic Library and its policies.

Lunch: Lunch at Wilson Lodge.

Afternoon: The afternoon session will begin with an exploration of a classic effect in magic; the Cups and Balls. This will be presented through live performance, video performance, and live demonstration. Students will construct their own set of cups and learn to perform a simple version of this effect. In this session, we will also begin work on a standard children's magic effect; the Magic Coloring Book.

Dinner: Dinner at Wilson Lodge.

Evening: The evening session is a presentation of the art of Balloon Twisting. We will explore the many areas of this expanding art form and also teach some basic twisting techniques.

Craft Session: Production Box, special evening presentation.

Breakfast: Breakfast buffet at Ihlenfeld Dining Room.

Morning: Craft session: Students will learn about and begin construction on a Magic Production Box. This is a major project that teaches several concepts in magic and performance, and is a highlight of the program. With proper construction, students will possess a standard magic utility item that would retail for over $100 if purchased from a magic dealer.

Lunch: Lunch at Wilson Lodge.

Afternoon: Complete work on the Magic Production Box.

Dinner: Dinner at Wilson Lodge.

Evening: An Uplifting Experience: History of levitations and suspensions.

Morning: Morning Magic Session. In this session, we will learn some simple magic that can be presented just about anywhere.

Lunch: Lunch at Wilson Lodge.

Afternoon: Day Pass at Oglebay Resort to enjoy many of the activities available.

Dinner: Dinner at Wilson Lodge.

Evening: Free evening and continued use of Day Pass at Oglebay Resort.

Optical Illusions, Card Magic, and Magic Show

Breakfast: Breakfast buffet at Ihlenfeld Dining Room.

Morning: The morning session will focus on card magic. This will be a combination of tricks with full decks of cards, as well as tricks with just a few cards, or special cards.

Lunch: Lunch at Wilson Lodge.

Afternoon: This session will include optical illusions and magic with paper, We will conclude with a discussion entitled "Where do I go from here?" which will address Magic Associations, publications, and on-line magic resources.

Dinner: Dinner at Wilson Lodge.

Evening: The week will conclude with a Magic Show presented by the instructors. This gives the students the opportunity to see how a professional program is presented and will include some of the effects that were taught during the week. The show is followed by Round Table which is simply an opportunity to wrap up any loose ends and to address any unanswered questions.
