Activity note: Today is all about meeting each other and getting the week started.

Afternoon: Registration will begin at 4:00 p.m., where you will meet the group leader for the week and receive your name badge and any other pertinent information. After everyone is registered, you will be asked to do a "get acquainted" session.

Dinner: Dinner will be a plated meal. If you have any dietary restrictions, please make sure you let us know about those prior to your arrival on your health and information forms.

Evening: After dinner, we will have our orientation session. We will give you your schedule and answer any questions you may have about the program. After we have answered your questions, we will take you on a trip to Disney Spring for ice cream!

Behind the Scenes at Animal Kingdom, Free Time in the Park

Morning: Find out what happens behind-the-scenes at Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park"! On this adventure, you'll get an insider's look at conservation, animal nutrition and medicine, animal care and behavioral studies and get to meet some of the people responsible for making Animal Kingdom® successful day-to-day. Highlights include visits to a backstage animal housing area, the Animal Nutrition Center, the Conservation Station Veterinary Hospital, and Kilimanjaro Safaris. Please note: no photos will be allowed in backstage areas.

Lunch: Lunch will be on your own at the Animal Kingdom Park.

Afternoon: Free Afternoon in the Park: Explore Disney's Animal Kingdom® on your own. The park is home to more than 2,000 animals across 300 species. Journey through the park’s six lands: Oasis, Discovery Island, Africa Rafiki's Planet Watch, Asia and DinoLand, and USA area.

Dinner: Dinner on your own. We recommend visiting any of the restaurants at Disney Springs.

Evening: Free evening. You can play cards, socialize or maybe take a trip to Disney Springs. There is a shuttle available at 6:00 pm from the hotel.

Morning: On this tour, you will pull back the curtain for an insider’s look at the heritage, daily operation, and Cast Members’ roles. This 7-hour “Backstage Magic” adventure guides you through a variety of locations where you will discover what it takes to create and maintain the “magic” every day. You will explore the inner workings of Epcot’s The American Adventure, observe the talented professions who bring Disney magic to life through wardrobe creation, and get up-close to the artisans whose attention to detail brings the elaborate stage sets to life.

Lunch: Enjoy a family-style Barbeque lunch at the Whispering Canyon Café.

Afternoon: Backstage Magic continues with a trip to Main Street, USA where you will experience the magic first hand with a Disney Parade.

Dinner: Dinner at the hotel restaurant with a gift card.

Evening: Book discussion: Dive into Disney with an evening book discussion of "Project Future: The Inside Story Behind the Creation of Disney World" by Chad Denver Emerson.

Business Behind the Magic, Free Time in a Disney Park

Morning: Experience the unforgettable opportunity to go behind-the-scenes and learn proven Disney business philosophies at one of the leading business operations in the world. This tour features the five core principles taught by Disney Institute and shows how they come to life each day at the Walt Disney World® Resort for Cast Members and Guests. Along the way we'll explore Textile Services-- one of the largest laundry facilities in the world; Epcot® Cast Services--experiencing the “Backstage” area from a Cast Member’s perspective; Main Street, U.S.A. ®--a turn-of-the-century walkway that will help us better understand how Disney strives to exceed the expectations of Guests; and the “Utilidor” System--the support systems designed to improve the experiences of Cast Members and Guests alike located beneath the Magic Kingdom® Park.

Lunch: Enjoy a buffet lunch at the hotel restaurant.

Afternoon: Now that you have seen behind the scenes, spend the afternoon in any of the four Walt Disney World® Parks with an After 2 pm Pass to see how the magic is performed in the eyes of a park guest.

Dinner: On your own at the park in which you chose to use your pass.

Evening: Free evening.

Behind the Scenes at Epcot, Cirque du Soleil Performance

Activity note: Getting on/off transportation; walking up to 4 miles; standing for extended periods in showcases; uneven, gravel terrain when backstage viewing fireworks set-up. Wear comfortable, closed-toe, closed-heel shoes.

Breakfast: Breakfast will be at the hotel. Delicious buffet with everything you can imagine, including Mickey waffles and made to order omelets.

Morning: Take a quick walk through Future World to reach the World Showcase, where together, you will discover the 11 countries featured at Epcot through The World Showcase DestiNations Discovered Tour. Get behind-the-scenes access and learn fun facts about how Disney was able to miniaturize some of the world’s most recognized landmarks. Start out the day in Canada and journey behind the scenes to see how the Rockies where created. Pop back into the world on the other side of the Atlantic in Europe. Stroll through the centuries in United Kingdom. Next, take in the sights and smells of Paris while getting a behind the scenes look at the Eiffel Tower. Last stop before lunch, Morocco!

Lunch: Lunch will be provided at the Restaurant Marrakesh in the Morocco Pavilion. Participants will enjoy a Moroccan tea ceremony followed by an authentic meal, featuring either a vegetarian or chicken dish with couscous. Need something sweet? No worries! After the main course, you will be treated to a selection of Moroccan desserts.

Afternoon: After lunch we'll travel to Japan where you'll learn about the role of Japanese gardens and traditions. After a quick walk through the American adventure, visit Italy to see architecture reminiscent of Piazza San Marco in Venice. Next, journey north to Germany and explore the quaint village environment. Back behind the scenes, you will be given an up-close look at how Epcot sets up for the nightly firework shows. Jumping back into the world of Epcot Showcases, you will travel through China and see replicas of the Terra Cotta warriors, explore Norway, and end the afternoon in a Mexican night market. After, we'll board the bus to head back to the hotel. From there, you can relax on site or head over to Disney Springs for more adventures via the complimentary shuttle.

Dinner: Enjoy a buffet style dinner at the hotel restaurant.

Evening: After dinner we'll take in a Cirque du Soleil performance. La Nouba is a mesmerizing and extraordinary avant-garde circus spectacle performed by Cirque du Soleil exclusively in Disney Springs®. The performance takes place in an exceptional theater built specifically for Cirque du Soleil. The show's international cast of acrobats, athletes, and performance artists—including more than 65 artists representing 15 countries—delights and mystifies with daring acts of grace. The name comes from the French “faire la nouba,” which means "to party, to live it up," and this theme is evident in the energetic performances, the colorful costumes, and the moving live music.
