Newburgh
The views of the Hudson River from the Mount campus are breathtaking!! All rooms are air conditioned with private bath. We are located in historic Newburgh, home to Washington's Revolutionary War Headquarters and close by to West Point, Hyde Park, and many other attractions. The campus features a modern library and a gym/recreation complex which is shared with other programs and available on a limited basis. We offer the program in one of two dormitories: Sakac Hall or Dominican Center and sometimes the location changes from when we go to print. However, when you arrive at campus there will be plenty of signs to guide your way. If you are staying in Sakac, please be advised of the following: Many of the rooms that are used for the Road Scholar Program are in a suite situation, and the bathrooms are adjacent to the bedroom, not within the bedroom. In a suite situation you will step into the common space that is shared in the suite, not into a hallway, to use the bathroom - the door of which is about 3' away from the bedroom door. There is no sharing of bathrooms. At most, 2 bedrooms and 2 baths will be occupied within the suite. Single rooms may or may not be within a suite.
