Give Through Your Donor Advised Fund!

A donor advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving account you establish directly with a sponsoring non-profit organization, community foundation, or financial institution. To set up a DAF, you make an irrevocable gift of cash or other assets to the financial or community institution, receive a tax deduction, and then recommend how much (and how often) you want to distribute money from that fund to Road Scholar or other charities. Also, as with a retirement plan or life insurance policy, you may list Road Scholar as a charitable beneficiary of your existing donor advised fund. If you have a donor advised fund and would like to direct a donation to Road Scholar, please ask your DAF provider to make checks payable to Road Scholar and mail to the following address: Road Scholar
PO Box 56033 Boston, MA 02205-6033 Road Scholar’s tax identification number is 04-2632526. Alternatively, if your donor advised fund is with Fidelity, Schwab, or BNY Mellon, you may recommend a gift to Road Scholar via DAFDIRECT.

If you have questions about giving to Road Scholar through your donor advised fund, please contact us at donorinfo@roadscholar.org or call toll free (877) 737-0664.
