Shawnee on Delaware
Evoking an atmosphere of old-world charm, the Shawnee Inn’s 103 guest rooms and suites balance comfort, convenience and history. All offer views of its famous golf course, the Delaware River or its expansive grounds. Because the property was built in 1911, no two rooms are alike. Each differs in size and configuration, yet all share a commitment to environmentally friendly and sustainable practices, including chemical-free housekeeping and all-natural soaps and shampoos. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, an indoor swimming pool, TV and more. Alcohol sold and allowed on-site. The institute offers myriad settings for Road Scholars to gather for conversation and relaxation. Good to know: Rooms are small. Hotel is made of concrete and iron rebar. As a result, there is a step up into most bathrooms to accommodate plumbing. Rooms are serviced only once during your stay. Most meals served buffet-style.
