Ricardo Uribe comes from Patagonia in Chile. After developing an interest in the ocean through meeting scientists at his mother's hostel in his youth, he studied physical oceanography at the Univesidad Católica de Valparaiso. He then worked for the government in Washington, D.C. in the area of environmental conservation. After nearly 12 years had passed, Ricardo felt it was time to come back to Chile. He is a lover of music, having learned to play the bagpipes.

Luis has traveled throughout Peru and has had the opportunity to explore Ecuador, Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Canada, and the U.S. In his free time, he enjoys listening to music, singing, playing soccer, reading and spending time with his wife and two sons.

Oscar Oviedo Velasco is a native Peruvian with over 15 years of experience as a local expert and Group Leader. He has special expertise in the archeology, history, and art of Peru and has conducted independent studies on the Viceregal history of Lima and ceramic and textile techniques of Pre-Hispanic Peru. Oscar has participated in various archaeological excavation projects and museum installations and studied photography at the Toulouse Lautrec institute, with concentrations in drone, nature, urban and archaeological photography, as well as photogrammetry.
