This is an outstanding program. The leaders were great. They shared their knowledge and also kept us amused. We visited great sites with much variety. We learned about many subjects, from earthquakes to wine selection. There was something for everyone. The accommodations were charming and the food was excellent. This was my fiftieth trip wit Road Scholar and one of the best.

This was a delightful and extremely informative program. It was easy going and in a lovely location with each room facing the ocean. I loved being there in late autumn, sometimes wet, Oregon weather.

What a great program! We tasted, touched, toured, ate, drank and learned so much about Oregon and its wonderful bounty. We learned lots about crabbing, salmon and tuna fishing, beer-making, the ocean, Oregon geography and geology, tsunamis, Oregon wines, and much more. We walked on the beach, in the forest, through the Aquarium and Marine Science Center. We had fabulous food cooked in a lovely Culinary Center. The Inn at Spanish Head is a wonderful unique hotel in the most amazing setting with stunning views of the beach and coastline. Top notch instructors made every day a pleasure.

Coastal Catch provided us with a look at the NW coast. We realize now why our seafood is expensive and we learned a great deal about Oregon wines, craft brewing and distilling, ocean life, forest growth, and local mushrooms. We were very fortunate to come across a herd of elk in the wild. The Inn at Spanish Head provided spectacular views from the room. But the best was the experience at the Lincoln City Culinary Center, and the sampling of Dungeness crab which we had never had before. Put this all together, and it is a wonderful program!

This was our first Road Scholar experience. We enjoyed it so much and are looking forward to many more adventures with Road Scholar.
