Activity note: Registration begins at 3:00 p.m. Dinner at 5:00-6:00 p.m. Registration at 6:30 p.m.

Afternoon: Program Registration, 3:00 p.m. After you have your room assignment, come to the Road Scholar table to register with the program staff and get your welcome packet containing your name-tag, up-to-date schedule that reflects any last-minute changes, and other important information. If you arrive late, this packet will be available at the Orientation meeting held at 6:30 p.m. at the Holt Lodge, first floor meeting room.

Dinner: Served in Lakeview dining hall 5:00-6:00 p.m.

Evening: Orientation, 6:30 p.m. The Group Leader will greet everyone and lead introductions. We will review the up-to-date program schedule, discuss roles and responsibilities, logistics, safety guidelines, emergency procedures, and answer questions. Periods in the daily schedule designated as “Free time” and “At leisure” offer opportunities to do what you like and make your experience even more meaningful and memorable according to your personal preferences. The Group Leader will be happy to offer suggestions. Program activities, schedules, personnel, and indicated distances or times may change due to local circumstances/conditions. In the event of changes, we will alert you as quickly as possible. Thank you for your understanding.

Breakfast: Served in Lakeview dining hall from 7:30-8:15 a.m.

Morning: With class beginning at 8:45 a.m., the instructor will lead introductions and introduce the projects for the week. Demonstration of the first project will be given and we will gather our materials and begin our first basket.

Lunch: Served at Lakeview dining hall from 12:00-1:00 p.m.

Afternoon: As we come back together as a class the instructor will work one-on-one with each of our projects.

Dinner: Served in Lakeview dining hall from 5:00-6:00 p.m.

Evening: Evening entertainment begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Holt Lodge meeting room.

Morning: The instructor will begin with a demonstrative lecture of a new pattern. We will gather supplies and start the new project

Lunch: Served in Lakeview dining hall from 12:00-1:00 p.m.

Afternoon: Coming together for the afternoon we will continue the basket project from the morning. The Instructor will work with each student to encourage individual design touches.

Dinner: Served in Lakeview dining hall from 5:00-6:00 p.m.

Evening: Open studios begin at 6:30 p.m.

Morning: This morning we will work to complete the basket started yesterday.

Lunch: Served in Lakeview dining hall from 12:00-1:00 p.m.

Afternoon: The afternoon will be spent with the instructor demonstrating a new basket pattern. We will choose our materials and begin a new basket.

Dinner: Dinner will be served in Lakeview dining hall from 5:00-6:00 p.m.

Evening: Evening entertainment begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Holt Lodge meeting room.

Morning: As a class we will work to complete yesterday's basket project. The instructor will then demonstrate the final project and we will gather materials and begin that project.

Lunch: Served in Lakeview dining hall from 12:00-1:00 p.m.

Afternoon: We will continue to work on the morning basket project and prepare our classroom display for the evening

Dinner: At 5:00 p.m. we will come together as a class with dinner served in the side dining room of the Lakeview dining hall. During the meal we will share experiences from the week.

Evening: At 6:30 p.m. as a group, we will do a walk through the class rooms to see what participants accommplished during the week.

Morning: This final day of class the instructor will review all the patterns and techniques we have learned throughout the week and work to complete the final project. We will share ideas and patterns to take home and continue our basketry.

Lunch: Served in Lakeview dining hall from 12:00-1:00 p.m. The program ends after lunch.

Afternoon: We hope you enjoy Road Scholar learning adventures and look forward to having you on rewarding programs in the future.
