Activity note: Hotel Check-In, Program Registration begin at 3:00 p.m. Dinner 5:00-6:00 p.m. Orientation 6:30 p.m.

Dinner: At Lake View Dining Hall, we will enjoy a cafeteria style meal served 5:00-6:00 p.m.

Evening: Program orientation will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Holt Lodge first floor meeting room. The Group Leader will greet everyone and lead introductions, discuss roles and responsibilities, logistics, safety guidelines, emergency procedures, and answer questions. Periods in the daily schedule designated as:Fee time" and "At leisure" offer opportunities to do what you like and make your experience even more meaningful and memorable. The Group Leader will be happy to offer suggestions. Program activities, schedules, personnel, and indicated distances or times may change due to local circumstances/conditions. In the event of changes, we will alert you as quickly as possible. Thank you for your understanding.

Activity note: Class begins at 8:30 a.m. in Studio B of the Craft House, a short level walk from Holt Lodge. Evening activities begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Holt Lodge first floor meeting room.

Breakfast: Served in Lake View dining hall from 7:30-8:15 a.m.

Morning: Our Basketry Class will begin with the instructor leading introductions and explaining her history with basketry. After demonstrating basic techniques for baskets, we will select a project and gather supplies. The instructor will work one-on-one with each student to begin our first basket.

Lunch: Served at Lake View dining hall from 12:00-1:00 p.m.

Afternoon: Following lunch, we will continue the work from morning under the supervision of the instructor.

Dinner: Served in Lake View dining hall from 5:00-6:00 p.m.

Evening: Evening activities will begin at 6:30 p.m. with students meeting in the Holt Lodge first floor meeting room.

Activity note: Basketry Class begins at 8:30 a.m. in Studio B of the Craft House. Open Studio will be offered at 6:30 p.m.

Breakfast: Served in Lake View dining hall from 7:30-8:15 a.m.

Morning: Basketry class will begin at 8:30 a.m. with some students completing the basket project from the day before while the instructor will continue to demonstrate techniques and guide us in selecting the supplies we will need to complete our next basket.

Lunch: Served in Lake View dining hall from 12:00-1:00 p.m.

Afternoon: Returning to the classroom following lunch, we will work under the instructions of the instructor to complete our basket projects.

Dinner: Served in Lake View dining hall from 5:00-6:00 p.m.

Evening: At leisure. Our classes will be open at 6:30 p.m. with the instructor available to assist with projects.

Breakfast: Served in Lake View dining hall from 7:30-8:15 a.m.

Morning: With class beginning at 8:30 a.m. the instructor will demonstrate the techniques to continue are basketry projects. Following the demonstration will be all begin work under the instructors guidance.

Lunch: Served in Lake View dining hall from 12:00 -1:00 p.m.

Afternoon: Following lunch, we will continue to work on our baskets with supervision of the instructor.

Dinner: Dinner will be served in Lake View dining hall from 5:00-6:00 p.m.

Evening: We will meet in Holt Lodge first floor meeting room at 6:30 p.m., for a field trip to the authentic Appalachian Moonshine Distillery located less than two miles from the conference center. We will board a bus and be treated to the history of Moonshine in West Virginia tastings will be available.

Activity note: Basketry Class begins at 8:30 a.m. in Studio B in the Craft House. Class Dinner begins at 5:00 p.m. in the side dining room of Lake View dining Hall. Class Tour begins in the Craft House, just after dinner.

Breakfast: Served in Lake View dining hall from 7:15-8:30 a.m.

Morning: The final full day in class will begin with a demonstration and distribution of supplies for our next basket project. We begin work on the basket under the supervision of the instructor.

Lunch: Served in Lake View dining hall from 12:00-1:00 p.m.

Afternoon: We will return to class following lunch to complete the basket projects and set up our project display for the evenings open studio.

Dinner: We will come together as a class at Lake View dining hall for dinner in the side dining room to enjoy the evening meal and share experiences of the week.

Evening: Following our dinner, we will proceed as a group to the Craft House to begin the evening. Teachers will give a brief talk on the projects of the week and students will highlight their completed projects.

Morning: As we come to class for the last session, we will put the finishing touches on any unfinished baskets. Our instructor will offer further ideas and basket projects to continue our basketry craft.

Lunch: Served in Lake View dining hall 12:00-1:00 p.m. Our final meal together but if you need to get on the road, let the Program Coordinator know and a brown bag lunch will be waiting for you. This concludes our program.

Afternoon: We hope you enjoy Road Scholar learning adventures and look forward to having you on rewarding programs in the future.
