Afternoon: Registration at 3PM in the lobby, refreshments in the dining room. Swimming pool available from 4:30 - 5:30 PM. Grandchildren each complete a swim test with our lifeguards prior to being allowed into the deep end of the pool.

Dinner: Meals are served buffet style at Watson Homestead. Dinners include meat entrée, rice, potato or stuffing; vegetable and desert, salad bar, coffee, tea, milk, iced tea and/or lemonade. Vegetarian option is available by request.

Evening: We'll go over our week's schedule and get to know each other with various ice breakers and name games.

Breakfast: Meals are served buffet style at Watson Homestead. Breakfasts include eggs, pancakes, French toast, bacon or sausage, hot cereal and toast. A breakfast bar of juices, cold cereals, fresh fruit and yogurt is also available. Coffee, decaf, milk and tea are served.

Morning: We'll travel this week in a air-conditioned coach. Today's field trip is to the Glenn H. Curtiss Museum of Aviation in Hammondsport. After a tour of the museums collections of early motorcycles and airplanes, students will create their own paper airplanes and we'll have a flying contest outside.

Lunch: Picnic lunch served at Champlain Beach, Keuka Lake. We'll eat sandwiches we made earlier this morning, plus fruit, chips and cookies, iced tea and lemonade.

Afternoon: Back on our coach for a ride over to Seneca Lake. Hike down the famous Watkins Glen Gorge with many waterfalls and deep caverns. Upon returning to the Homestead, afternoon swim time in the pool.

Dinner: Meals are served buffet style at Watson Homestead. Dinners include meat entrée, rice, potato or stuffing; vegetable and desert, salad bar, coffee, tea, milk, iced tea and/or lemonade. Vegetarian option is available by request.

Evening: Tonight we have our 36 foot climbing tower program for all ages. We use certified staff belayers who will teach safety requirements and guide participants in climbing as far as they wish to go.

Morning: Field trip to the Heritage Village of the Southern Finger Lakes, home of the Corning-Painted Post Historical Society. There we will divide into small groups to experience hands-on early 19th century crafts with costumed interpreters: blacksmithing, spinning, open hearth cooking, tools in the barn; packing the trunk in the log cabin and playing old fashioned games in the one-room schoolhouse.

Lunch: Picnic lunch served at the Patterson Inn, part of the Heritage Village. We'll choose from various sandwich makings, cookies, chips and fruit. Iced tea and lemonade will also be served.

Afternoon: Visit the Rockwell Museum of American Art and explore Historic Restored Market Street with your family. Plus afternoon slippy slide and swim time in the pool.

Dinner: Meals are served buffet style at Watson Homestead. Dinners include meat entrée, rice, potato or stuffing; vegetable and desert, salad bar, coffee, tea, milk, iced tea and/or lemonade. Vegetarian option is available by request.

Evening: Evening program: We'll have a ceramic painting project in the Art Room.

Blow glass at the Corning Museum of Glass and learn archery.

Morning: Field trip to the famous Corning Museum of Glass, the largest collection of glass in the world. This morning we will also each blow a glass ornament and make a fused glass suncatcher.

Lunch: We will have lunch today at the Café of the Corning Museum of Glass. vouchers will be provided so you can choose from soup, salads, sandwiches, pizza, and lots more.

Afternoon: This afternoon we will continue our visit at the Museum with its many galleries and demonstrations. Afternoon swim time in the pool.

Dinner: Meals are served buffet style at Watson Homestead. Dinners include meat entrée, rice, potato or stuffing; vegetable and desert, salad bar, coffee, tea, milk, iced tea and/or lemonade. Vegetarian option is available by request.

Evening: Evening program includes archery lesson and target shooting on our property.

Morning: Woods hike on our property to gather natural materials to make a branch weaving. We will look for tree and flower species, insects and anphibians.

Lunch: Lunch in the dining room. We'll have a selection of soup and salad makings, plus sandwiches, cookies and chips. Coffee, tea, iced tea and lemonade will be served.

Afternoon: Art activities including completing the branch weavings, candle dipping, rope making and tin punching. Late afternoon we will have a creek crawl - looking for fish, salamanders and frogs! Plus afternoon swim time in the pool.

Dinner: Meals are served buffet style at Watson Homestead. Dinners include meat entrée, rice, potato or stuffing; vegetable and desert, salad bar, coffee, tea, milk, iced tea and/or lemonade. Vegetarian option is available by request.

Evening: Evening program will be making hand-cranked ice cream and a final campfire with s'mores, stories and songs. Grandchildren will be encouraged to offer skits that they've created and rehearsed during the week.

Morning: We will explore the geometric traditions of the nine-patch quilt square and make a six inch square with paper pieces rather than cloth. One final swim for the students while the grandparents pack the car.
