I loved everything about this program. The location was beautiful, our hosts were kind and professional, the food was fabulous, the tent lodging was as described and expected, the educational and social opportunities were abundant, and the hikes to beautiful places were first rate. I will miss Blayney Meadow and the special people who call it "home."

This is a fabulous wilderness destination, with comfortable camping accommodations, food lovingly prepared and served, and even hot showers! Even more special was being welcomed to this property by the family and their friends, who made us all comfortable and shared their love for this unique place.

This program is a gem, and a unique opportunity to get into the back country without the hassle and risk of doing on your own. If you can walk four miles and are comfortable with car-camping, I highly recommend that you sign up. Your camp hosts have thought of everything and you are guided through each outdoor activity at your own comfort level. I attended twice and recruited several siblings and friends to join me on my second trip. Although the activity level is listed as "spirited," there are plenty of times to just sit still and appreciate the beauty of the natural setting. I felt rested and rejuvenated at the week's end.

Yoga on a huge rock, surrounded by wildflowers, snow capped mountains, watching the sunrise, instructed by sweetest person on earth, had to of been my favorite experience.

These 5 days in the wilderness are very like Chautauqua in western New York. It is liberal arts with exercise, i.e. hiking up and down. I learned more geology and hydrology. I was reminded of the value of poetry and music. The fishing was non-existent because it was a high snow year and stream flows were quintupled.

This was a great program for me--relatively high Sierra wilderness experience without having to backpack. The hosts are experienced, attentive, and organized. Just be sure that you understand how rugged high Sierra trails and roads can be. Materials warn appropriately that this is not a walk in the park.

The High Sierra Wilderness Adventure is an amazing experience. If you enjoy being in the true wilderness but don't want to pack in your own gear and prepare your meals, this is for you. Hot showers, three delicious meals, a comfortable tent with thick pad enhanced my comfort. The beauty of the Sierra Nevada mountains delighted my senses - fresh air, a rainbow of wildflowers, incredible hiking at all different levels of ability - make this a perfect experience.
