At a Glance

Purdue University features a variety of fine musicians every year with their extracurricular instruction in band, bells and voice. For the past 23 years, they have also become known for their choral workshop, where camaraderie is the keynote. This wonderful week of singing and rehearsing a variety of choral arrangements culminates with a Friday afternoon public performance. Vocal experience is preferred.

Jon Ranard
Jon Ranard is a Nebraska native who first joined the Purdue Musical Organizations family in 1991, working in a variety of roles. After a brief return to his home state, he came back to Purdue in 2008 as the assistant director, accompanist and arranger for two different groups. An active choral clinician and adjudicator for competitions, Jon also continues to write and arrange vocal and instrumental music for groups and ensembles nationwide, while occasionally finding time to sing and perform.
