We will become familiar with the components of a good comic mystery. We will read a sample script aloud and discuss the roles of a victim, suspects, and a character who leads the audience toward solving the mystery. We’ll cover the important concepts of motive, opportunity, plot twists, and clues, and then we’ll brainstorm about the theme of our own mystery and select a theme.
At the Lakeview Dining Hall, our choices will include soup, salads, sandwiches, fruit and perhaps a homemade treat. Coffee, tea, water included.
We will come up with a collection of characters, establish their relationships to one another, and write short biographical descriptions of the characters.

We will gather in the Holt Lodge first floor meeting room for an evening of entertainment from a local musician.
