Dr. Vannetta Perry is a retired educator and lifelong resident of New Mexico who is deeply rooted in the southwest. Her family homesteaded and ranched in Southwestern New Mexico and farmed in West Texas. As an educator, Dr. Perry worked in the university setting, teaching biology and directing science outreach programs. Her love for travel was sparked when she led research studies in developing countries. Since retiring, Dr. Perry has continued to share her love of travel and education as a travel director and leader.

Tari Intardonato was a teacher for many years before taking her skills to the road. She enjoys leading field trips with Road Scholar, during which she shares her knowledge and love of presidential libraries, history, textiles, and little out-of-the-way gems. Tari is an avid reader and loves sewing, watching British TV shows, and spending time with her family.

Aurora Cruz Nelson is a seasoned world traveler and infinite life learner. She strives to ensure that others are positively impacted by their travel; her experience has given her a global perspective that she wants to share. She is motivated by her dedication to quality life for all. Aurora has held positions in education, nonprofits, and travel sectors. Her strengths include creativity, curiosity, and gratitude. Her favorite person is her teenage son, who she took on a six-country gap year.

Kim Johnson is a lifelong Michigander. A graduate of Michigan State University, she spent over 30 years as a commercial banker. By happenstance, she discovered group leading which allowed her to retire early. This career change perfectly coincided with her grown sons venturing out on their own career paths. Today, Kim and her husband Greg are both enjoying life as group leaders with both students and adults. Her hobbies include hiking, reading, cycling, pet-sitting, and researching new places to visit.

Anthony DeSalvo is a Chicago native. Graduating from DePaul University with degrees in history and secondary education, Anthony taught history and geography at the high school level. He continues to substitute teach in his local school district. An ardent traveler, Anthony enjoys leading trips and engaging with groups not only in Chicago but also in the Midwest, Colorado, Arizona, and California. Anthony spends his free time working with youths and reading historical nonfiction and biographies.
