We will board our motorcoach and visit a global company selling multi-tools around the world. Leatherman Multi-Tools started in Portland, and, despite their success and monumental growth, they remain in Portland and have committed to staying forever. Upon arrival, we'll be given an introductory talk, followed by a visit of the production facility, including the design department, as well as manufacture and assembly.
At a local restaurant with locally-sourced meats and produce. Coffee, tea, water, soda, other non-alcoholic beverages included. Other beverages available for purchase.
In our private meeting room at the restaurant, we’ll enjoy a lecture from a representative from a local business alliance who will discuss how to start and grow a business, and how global sales and exports increase company value and sales, but also create logistical challenges in both production and international sales. We’ll then return to the hotel.
