Five captivating countries in 16 days, a gem of discovery at every turn. Step aboard the Aegean Odyssey for our monumental journey to France, Spain, Portugal, Morocco and England. Delve into the remarkable history and modern local life of each as you journey from Barcelona to Tangier, Porto to Normandy, ending with a day in Tilbury. Unlike most cruise ships that are briefly in port, you’ll have overnight stays in many locations, giving you plenty of opportunities for deeper exploration. If you’ve wanted to see the world in a bold, new way, you’ll find it on the Aegean Odyssey!

Best of all, you’ll…

  • Pay your respects during a visit to one of the D-Day invasion sites on the beaches of Normandy.
  • Explore Porto’s highlights by motorcoach with a local expert
  • Visit the bustling Medina (Kasbah) while in Tangier, followed by tea.

General Notes

We’ll have up to 350 Road Scholar participants on the ship, divided into groups of 35 for shore excursions.

Want to travel to 5 countries for 15 days and never handle your suitcase or pack/unpack? The Aegean Odyssey is your answer. We traveled to amazing sights and got to relax each day in our own cabin. The guides were so knowledgeable and kind! The ports were unforgettable! The food was outstanding! The best part was the friendly people we met from across the globe!

Our first Road Scholar trip. Loved every minute of it. The small boat size made it easy to meet lots of wonderful guests from all over. Loved the pace, the food, the lectures and the tours. You won't be disappointed with this vacation.

If you are looking for an educational experience only, this program is for you. We did not know what to expect, since it was or first experience. We loved it and had an experience of a lifetime. If we were younger, we would put this on our agenda every year.

A wonderful way to sample some of the gems along the Atlantic coast of Europe and Africa. A great balance between days at sea and ports of call. Highly recommended.

A delightful opportunity to check off three items on my Bucket List. Normally, I prefer visiting third world countries as more of a chalenge to my view of the world, but this provided some knowledge about cities and regions I might otherwise have avoided.
