Walking up to 2 miles total throughout the day’s group activities. Shuttle service available to all group activities.
In the hotel dining room, the breakfast buffet offers choices such as pancakes, waffles, eggs and omelets, breakfast meats, fruits, yogurts, cereals, breads, pastries.
We’ll meet in the Presbyterian House Chapel located adjacent to the hotel for a class with our Road Scholar instructor who specializes in the opera productions we will be attending this week. One of the most important elements of Chautauqua’s ongoing educational program is the lecture series presented in the Amphitheater. Each week’s presentations by leading experts focus on a unified weeklong theme. All are welcome to attend.
At the hotel, we’ll have a buffet lunch with lemonade, iced tea, coffee, water included; other beverages available for purchase. Alternatively, you may want to take a boxed lunch if you would like to attend another lecture or activity during the lunch period.
The Interfaith Lecture series occurs in the Hall of Philosophy, sponsored by the Chautauqua Department of Religion. On the other hand, you may also choose from a variety of lectures, classes, and recreational activities according to personal preference. Historic narrated bus rides around Chautauqua are available daily (see your Group Leader to sign up), or you might like to explore the Chautauqua campus on your own, see what’s on at a gallery, curl up with a book, or simply relax.
We’ll make our way to the Amphitheater for an evening performance.
