Venture to the Wild West of Colorado with your grandchild as you become ranchers, rafters and Rocky Mountain ramblers on an outdoor adventure together. Hike past glittering lakes in the Rockies, and enjoy a rafting trip on a popular local River with its rugged scenery and exciting rapids. At a real working ranch, adopt a horse and watch how the wranglers train it before hopping into the saddle to hit the trails. Find out about the ancient peoples that inhabited the area, and tell stories by the campfire on your last night together with the group.

Walking up to 5 miles daily over uneven, rocky terrain; climbing in/out of rafts; Class II, III rapids; mounting/dismounting horses and riding for approximately 2 hours on rocky trails with inclines and declines.
