Greece is beautiful. Exploring many islands is so wonderful. We liked the temperature and somewhat smaller crowd size in April. The Aegean Odyssey is wonderful for its small size yet "big ship" accommodations.

This is a great trip for learning so many things you never knew about Greece. The group leaders were very knowledgable and engaging. Our's was so good, we would specifically ask for her if we attended any other programs in Greece.

Wonderful trip, would do it again in a minute! Just wish there had been more time on the ship. We were going every minute! Road Scholar takes care of you and every detail. They are so organized!

This was a fabulous trip! It was incredible to visit ancient (and not so ancient) sites that I had read about since I was a child and see them in person. There were about 380 people on this tour, and we were divided into groups of about 30 people each. Organization was excellent: groups left on a staggered schedule so that there were no bottlenecks. Our guide for the "Brown" group, Efi, was excellent--she was knowledgeable, kept us on schedule but was patient, had great interpersonal skills, and was kind. The cruise ship, the Aegean Odyssey, was beautiful, comfortable, and well-run. It was such a treat waking to a new island and a new adventure each morning. My only complaint was inherent in this kind of "sampler" tour-- I wanted to spend more time in each place we visited!

My wife and I were delighted with this trip, and it was obvious that nearly all of our fellow participants felt the same way. Road Scholar did an excellent job in organization, and I give the trip an unqualified recommendation. Moreover, April was an ideal month for travel.

My trip to Greece and surrounding Islands was so informative, beautiful, and the Aegean Odesey was a lovey ship. Our guide Efi S. is an intelligent, considerate guide, and fun. Thank you for such an adventure worth taking.

This was an amazing trip. The Aegean Islands were so beautiful. The ancient history was very interesting and we saw so many artifacts and ancient ruins. It is definitely going into a whole new world. Glad we took the chance of going into Greece to experience another culture.

This was a dream trip, with the reality exceeding my fantasy. Our guide was capable of smoothing out snags gracefully as well as imparting amazing information about the nearly 4000 years of history we were encountering. She gave us just enough, being sensitive to her audience at all times. Though we were one group in many, we were convinced we had the best guide of all. The ship, Aegean Odyssey, was stunning. Beautifully run, immaculate, with a helpful crew ready to meet all needs without getting in the way. I had never been on a cruise. Now I'm spoiled. To walk along paths, to look up at architecture remaining from BCE, to admire the mosaics, the containers, the sculptures left by ancient artists, to experience the current cultures sustaining themselves on these Aegean islands...gave me a new sense of my own human history. What a beautiful, memorable trip. Thank you, Road Scholar.

From the suggestions for reading and viewing before the trip, to the great accommodations and food on the trip, and the excellent destinations we experienced--it was a great trip. Road Scholar staff and group leaders were all efficient and excellent. Thank you for a great trip!

We've traveled a lot but had never been on a cruise. The design and organization of the program, small ship size, quality of our guide and overall atmosphere were top-notch and made us eager to seek out additional trips like this one.

The trip to Greece (Athens & the island cruise) was the most fantastic trip I could ever have imagined!!! The sights, sounds, foods, scenery, learning, friendships, etc., inspired the desire for more. We'll be visiting Greece again soon!

This was a superb program, well put together and well executed. The sites and port calls were well selected, and division of the the large overall group into subgroups, each with their own tour leader, worked very well. The Aegean Odyssey, though an older ship, has had a recent refit, and was comfortable and well managed. Although some shore side excursions pushed the On Your Feet envelope a bit, there was always a way to accommodate those with less stamina. Whether this is your first trip to Greece and the Aegean, or a return, it's a superb opportunity!

The President's Greece experience did not disappoint! In fact, this experience in Greece and aboard the Aegean Odyssey far surpassed my already high expectations! You MUST understand that there is almost NO FLAT land in Greece. When you walk you MUST look DOWN where you are walking! Make use of hiking poles/walking sticks. We were told that innumerable times a day and still there were those who forgot or just did not listen.

This program was designed to lead us through the many layers of Greece's ancient civilization. ...I didn't realize the chronological nature of the presentations until the end, when I looked back on the whole program.

This program gives participants a much enhanced understanding of contemporary Greece, its beautiful islands and landscapes, its rich history and the extraordinary contributions to Western civilization, the warm and hospitable people of Greece. A marvelous country to visit.

This program is for people who want to see lots of Greek islands in 8 days traveling on a lovely ship with a friendly group and crew . Shore excursions are well planned and guided so that you get a real feel for Greece. The food is excellent and a bonus is that you unpack only once.

The President's Voyage to Greece and It's Islands was superb. The guides chosen by Road's Scholar have a wealth of knowledge and are compassionate about their country and show it by their presentations and their interaction with the participants. The accomodations of hotel in Athens and the Aegean Odyssey ship met all of our needs of comfort, entertainment, meals and the staff were helpful and accommodating!! I highly recommend Road Scholar's program to Greece and It's Islands.

This program had fabulous logistics to manage the full group of 300 plus, and still held a regular 30-35 person group feel. The destinations were fascinating, and our group leader, Dionysus was an incredible resource. If you are intrigued by classical Greece, and the beauty of the Greek Islands, this program is a wonderful choice.

Missed the final answer on the last page of the survey. Some of the participants had difficulty climbing with no railings, and using open staircases--even in the Wyngate Hotel. We are fortunate to have our ADA here in the States, but the guides were extremely accommodating in suggesting that people stand or sit in the shade and not do the difficult climbs. It was a challenging program, but doable for any but the wheelchair-bound.

The president's trip to Greece was outstanding in every way, from the smaller ship (the Agean Odyssey) which Road Scholar took over, to the choice of small and larger islands and the sites, to the marvelous guides and history provided, to the organization and desire to please.. The food on the ship was wonderful and choice of restaurants on each island was interesting, different and delicious.. A very happy and special memory..

Loved our mother/daughter trip to the Islands of Greece - we learned so much from our guide, Efi, and saw some of the most beautiful sites. Definitely recommend Road Scholar and look forward to other locations with them in the future.

Exceptional program but the physical requirements of uphill walking were demanding and the requirements of good balance for stairways without railings was understated. We enjoy hand rails everywhere so NOT having them is very difficult to estimate. One good walking stick for balance should be required for Senior Senior Citizens.
