This program was outstanding! Whether you go single or as a couple or with a friend, you will be comfortable and welcomed. You will see some fantastic things, and learn lots! The group leader super fantastic, and the subject matter expert was great and became a part of our 'group'. Muir Woods was a dream come true for me. The Bird Observatory was a big hit with everyone. So was the mammal rehab center. We saw and did so much more than I had anticipated. Plus you have the reassurance that if you have a problem or health issue, they will make sure you are well taken care of. So much hospitality and fun! You won't regret it!

Just came back from the Redwoods, Seashore and Coastal Headlands of California trip. Great experience! Guides always make the trip and Shelia and David were awesome. Friendly, knowledge, accommodating to everyones interests and needs. I learned so much about this area. We did a variety of learning experiences, walks, hikes and viewing nature. Loved this trip!

This program was very interesting and the instructors shared a lot of their knowledge with us. The scenery was spectacular and I just loved going to Muir Woods . It was on my list of places to visit. We also visited many areas of Point Reyes national seashore park. It was a full trip but very good.

We have been to all these places one at a time over the years. This Road Scholar study brought it all together in a very organized, revealing way. Marvelous leaders, great place to stay and excellent bus drivers made it a relaxing yet inspiring visit.

This Road Scholar trip has so much diversity it is like 3 RS adventures rolled into one! The Redwoods, Seashore and Headlands is a unique area to explore nature, study geology, learn about birding and marine mammal rescue and visit picturesque lighthouses. It provides a touch and feel exposure, augmented with beautiful hikes and knowledgeable guides. This is a California hidden gem!
