A new day; a new dawning everyday of this trip! Each day's hike is different and offers its own opportunity for seeing another part of Majorca.

This was my 17 th RS trip. What distinguished this trip was the upscale lodging and food, both the best I have had on any RS hiking trip. The hiking is often on surfaces with loose rocks, and there were many ascents and descents.I think one day we did the equivalent of 72 floors. This is not a trip for a casual walker. The main thing I would recommend is a smaller group size. Our group was the max of 20, with most of the participants in their 70's. This was a large group for a single hiking guide and a group leader.

Mallorca is truly a hiker's paradise. I would enthusiastically recommend this program for its challenging hikes through beautiful island trails, and the hotel Bon Sol to return to at the end of the day.

After taking the Camino walk with Road Scholar the year before, was excited to hike in Mallorca. This program is evolving but enjoyed the variety of the hikes, the accommodations and the island. The accommodations were lovely. Love rising, breakfast, hiking, dinner...repeat. Had heard about Our Guide, Nacho, and was not disappointed.

What an amazing adventure! Great hiking not to hard but really fun. Beautiful places to see with a rich history and interesting culture. While I can’t speak for other groups ours was an amazing mix of really fun and interesting folks that mad the adventure even better. And I cannot say enough about the guides as they were all so good and fun to be with.

Great hiking, great guides, great food, great hotel and lots of Mallorca history. Nacho is one of the best Road Scholar guides I’ve had in at least 15 trips.

Mallorca is a beautiful country with scenic vistas, lovely villages & delicious food. This hiking trip allowed us to visit several different areas of the country and took advantage of the extensive Mallorca trail system. In addition to group transportation, we took a scenic train one day & also used the public bus, and we also had one day in the city of Palma. Each daynwas different and very enjoyable overall!

If you are looking for an active vacation, this program will meet your needs. The hikes are somewhat challenging if you are not a frequent hiker but they are not impossible if you are in reasonably good shape. Bring your hiking boots and a camera; lots to see along the coast and in the mountains.

A wonderful overview of this lovely island, through amazing hikes and field trips to cultural highlights. Highly recommended if you enjoy both mountains and seascapes.

If you like hiking and history, this is a great trip. The guides were great. The trip was very well organized and the guides adapted as needed for the changing weather conditions. Very nice hotel, excellent food, great walks ... learned a lot!

It's hard to go wrong with the beautiful island of Mallorca, the qualified guides Cristina and Nacho who were so good at transforming misfortune (as in the heavy rainfalls) and the challenge of the mountains. Not to mention the great food and hotel.
