The Tip of the Iceberg was an excellent experience. If you've ever thought about visiting Antarctica, do it. The sights, sounds (or lack thereof), animals, scenery, ship staff, group leaders, fellow passengers who love adventure were all wonderful. I read up on the trip and thought the time of year which was early November would not be the best for seeing wildlife, but I was wrong. What a delight. Many variety of penguins, whales, and birds, as well as elephant seals, and dolphins to name some, were visible. The snow and ice were pristine. Awesome experience!

Exploring Antartica on the MS Midnatsol was fabulous. The Expedition Team provided excellent lectures. We did the first trip of the season which included Puerto Madyn and the Falkland Islands. These were a high bonus with beatuiful scenery and wildlife. Antartica is breath taking.
