I had a wonderful time. The leaders were well informed on the ruins and other activities we took part in and very friendly. The amount and level of the activities were not to strenuous and evaluated accurately. The other participants were wonderful and very friendly.

Program was wonderful, I enjoyed the trip. We have never been disappointed in any of the trips we've gone on so far

I truly enjoyed this trip in southern Colorado because of the diversity of the scenery and the hikes ! The unexpected snow during late May only enhanced the fun of hiking to see the cliff dwellings in Mesa Verde National Park. Our leaders Peter and Dan were great at sharing their knowledge of the history, geology, and stories about all the areas and parks we hiked during this trip. It was great that we did not have to pack our lunches in our day packs and could refill our water bottles in the vans. Each day they set out a picnic feast with plenty of healthy breads, fruits, and vegetables . Thanks to Peter and Dan for sharing their love of the outdoors with us !

The Mesa Verde trip was a great experience! Beautiful scenery, interesting information, great hikes. Peter and Dan were fantastic group leaders - competent, flexible, knowledgeable, and pleasant. I enjoyed the other people on the trip; we all bonded through our love of travel and the outdoors. It was a pleasure to leave the trip details to others, and just concentrate on the experience. I'll definitely do this again.

Excellent itinerary to hike in 3 very different National Parks. Beautiful scenery and moderate, well-maintained hiking trails. Distances hiked were often less than advertised. Climbing ladders in Mesa Verde and Ute Parks was a challenge, but probably more mental than physical. Lots of time riding between the parks which would have been more interesting /educational with commentary along the way from the team leader. Be prepared for hiking at high elevations (one 2-hour hike at 11,000+ feet). The leaders should be encouraged to use a sweep on the hiking trails to assure participant safety.

I enjoyed the fellow participants and the wonderful locations. However, the communication from the leaders left something to be desired. Plus, if you are a distance hiker as I am, do not believe the description on the RS website as it is woefully overstated. Southwestern Colorado is beautiful. Glad I experienced it!
