Thoroughly enjoyed our hiking trip to Zion National Park. The hikes were somewhat strenuous but stimulating and the views were amazing. It was a great group of people and our guides were knowledgeable but also had a sense of humor. I would highly recommend this trip.

This was my first Road Scholar program, but it definitely won't be my last! I loved the learning experience and the physical activity. The week's activities were well-organized, and the participants were compatible and friendly.

This program was excellent and included challenging hiking in one of the most beautiful areas of the world. Zion can be crowded and some of the best trails have had to be turned into cement sidewalks to keep them stable and to prevent further erosion. Would recommend this program for the off season to avoid the overwhelming crowds between June and September.

This was one of my first hiking trip with Road Scholars. Enjoyed very much and looking for a next opportunity.

I LOVED this trip!! The group of people we met were lots of fun. I did not realize the elevation issue as I live in the midwest. But with loving peer pressure I made it to the top! So glad I did!

I joined this program thinking that the hiking would be slightly easier than it was and that I would be able to concentrate more on my photography---the hiking proved a little more challenging than I had expected but it introduced to me a new side of myself that I hadn't expected---I pushed myself and loved it---the challenge was exhilarating----I now know I can enjoy myself without my camera for a few hours----well done everyone---Lynne

This trip was amazing. The hiking was challenging for me, but the coordinator (the fabulous Sherry) gave us options based on our individual abilities and goals. On the last day, I hiked farther and higher than I have every hiked - to Scout's Lookout - and it was one of the best experiences of my life. I leave feeling empowered to take on challenges with less fear and doubt! Know that the "moderately challenging" rating given this program is relative (two of the hikes were rated strenuous by the park service - their highest rating of challenge), but, again, there are options. If you are a hiker coming from sea level or mostly hikes with little elevation gain, the hiking on this program may be very challenging, but totally worth it!
