When you think of France, there’s probably one city that comes to mind first: Paris. While the City of Light is definitely dazzling, with the glittering Eiffel Tower, priceless artwork and tasty pastries, venture beyond the city with your family on this two-week adventure to the coolest parts of France. You’ll experience life in the city as you learn about magical Paris, but then you’ll board a riverboat to the colorful gardens that inspired one of the greatest artists on the world. Let the River Seine take you both to the beaches of Normandy, where the epic D-Day battle took place, as you learn all about one of the most important moments in American history. Sail into the past while exploring medieval cities on exciting treasure hunts through the twisting streets. Alongside your family, explore the best along the Seine, while learning about its famous landmarks and surprise treasures that make this country très magnifique.

General Notes

This is a Family program for participants, their adult children and grandchildren ages 9 and up. Triple rooms not available. Current Events in Paris: Due to the fire at Notre Dame, the cathedral is closed to visitors. Road Scholar programs that visit île de la Cité will be able to see the outside of the cathedral, but we will not be able to go inside. Also, because of the ongoing protests in Paris, we may need to make last-minute changes to the itinerary to avoid visiting areas blocked by protesters.
