This trip is a real gem. We hiked each day (1 1/2 to 4 miles), had very interesting and informational sessions with the leader, very comfortable lodging, gourmet meals. It was a lot of fun.

Michael Clough's evening presentations of live animals were the best I've ever seen. Lodge's fireplace area was particular accommodating for size of group (~2 dozen).

I highly recommend this program if you enjoy being outdoors. It is a little more strenuous than the rating suggests. But we had a lot if rain, which impacted it. Met wonderful people. Mike and Carina were great.

was a great experience--the hikes were fun and the leaves pretty--the leaders made it fun and informative ---the inn was a neat, fun place to stay ---food was perfect

The Gray Ghost provides a homey, cozy atmosphere and the leaders are accommodating, friendly, and participants find a "home away from home," from the cooks to the bus driver, leaders and friendly canines!

If you enjoy getting outside and learning more about nature while walking though beautiful New England countryside, this is the program for you.

The program on hiking and wildlife in Southern Vermont was well organized, provided a good mixture of education and outdoor activity, and had an outstanding instructor. Bill Barnes

If you enjoy meeting people with diverse backgrounds and interests or want a different experience and perspective, I recommend signing up for a Road Scholar program. I just completed my first program, and it was pleasantly surprising, enjoyable and memorable. It truly was the best trip of my life!
