At a Glance

Join local experts for an adventurous journey through one of America's most spectacular wild river canyons. The trail follows the north bank of the river as it rushes through Oregon's coastal wilderness towards the Pacific. Hike the length of the Rogue River National Recreation Trail — used by gold miners and Native Americans for more than 1,000 years — carrying only a daypack, while equipment and supplies are carried down river on rafts.
Activity Level
Outdoor: Choose Your Pace
Each day, choose from multiple hiking options based on your desired level of challenge and pace, ranging from 4-12 miles on varied terrain. Elevations range from 150 to 885 feet. Those who choose shorter hiking option will be transported on rafts.

A wonderful experience hiking and rafting the Rogue River through the Wild and Scenic Area. Our nights in remote lodges along the river were a perfect part of the adventure.

I loved seeing the Wild and Scenic Rogue River both from above by hiking and below by rafting. There aren't many places you can go to be "off the grid" and this trip is one of them. The remote lodges were special, the food was fantastic, and the leaders were a lot of fun!

5 Star experience! This trip is truly unique along the wild and scenic Rogue River combining hiking and / or rafting to a different remote lodge each day. Definitely unique.
