The pace of this birding trip was very easy. We got to see every endemic bird in Cuba (possible to see) and still had time to wander cities, eat relaxed meals, visit with other travelers, as well as attend interesting cultural events and places. We came home happy and relaxed.

Finding the endemic birds of Cuba is a great trip. We did achieve our goal of seeing 25 out of 26 endemic species. Accommodations and the food was good in a variety of good locations on the beach on both the Caribbean and the Atlantic side If you can go in March rather than April the migrants would still be there.

For avid birders this is your chance to see nearly all the Cuban birds along with a wonderful cultural experience. Great birding and a great travel destination.

This is the trip of a lifetime! Being able to view the birds and countryside was more than I hoped for but, in addition, learning about the people, culture, and history enhanced my Cuba experience!

This trip was a great birding experience with expert guides. All necessary expenses were covered. The accommodations were as expected and the physical exertions required was somewhat less than we expected. The other participants were sociable, and similar to us in experience and enthusiasm. We expect to make more trips like this in the future as long as we are able.

As a novice birder, this trip was wonderful Dr. H Gonzales showed an enthusiasm that was contagious! Cuban people were gracious, friendly and welcoming.

Well worth the money for any serious birder

If you want to see some beautiful, rare, endemic, and/or endangered birds, this is a once in a life time trip. But be prepared for traveling in a Communist third world country ruled by a dictator. If you just want to see Cuba, save your money and read about it.

A magical trip for the birder who isn't afraid of challenging conditions. We saw about 130 birds and 23 of 26 endemics and got plentiful exposure to this beautiful island with a culture (and economy) that has been frozen in time. Highly recommended for the birder who loves to see tropical (and often quite tame) birds and wants to see and learn more about Cuba before Starbucks arrives and changes everything. I would have liked an additional day in Havana but our "instructor" gave us a first-rate half-day tour of the old section. Our traveling group and leaders were first-rate.
